One of the ten greatest albums of al times in my book, and i agree, she gathers rain is an excellent song.

"The World I Know" is the song that opened my eyes to CS, and this is the album that made me fall in love with their music. I used to wake up early on Saturdays when I was a kid to watch the Top 25 music videos of the week on MTV (when MTV still played music videos) when this album was released.

Yet another fantastic album where every track is awesome. I particularly like Smashing Young Man.

I was in my late 30's when this album came out. I fell in love with Collective Soul then and have bought (and completely enjoyed) every album since then. I may be a bit older than the rest of you all, but their music is so good, I don't think age really matters. I hope they keep playing and writing new stuff 'til they're all in their 100"s!!!

I got this disc for Christmas 1995. This album (along with REM's "Monster") made me a modern rock fan right as I entered my teenage years. Such great memories come rushing back when I play this disc. Fifteen years later and it still must be cranked. "Simple" and "Untitled" are infectious like the cold.
